Transaero Airlines (Moscow Vnukovo) has announced plans to now also move some of its long-haul services from Moscow Domodedovo to Moscow Vnukovo as of spring 2013. It currently already has its five B737-700s based at Vnukovo and operates from there to domestic destinations as well as some selected airports in Central Asia, Europe and Israel. From the end of March, Transaero will move its routes from Moscow to Los Angeles International, Miami International and Toronto Pearson from Domodedovo to Vnukovo operating from the airport with B747-400s and B777-300s for the first time. Its four times weekly B777-200ER service between Moscow and New York JFK will continue to operate from Domodedovo.
