Mango Airlines (MNO, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo) has wet-leased B737-300 ZS-VDB (MSN 27345) from ACMI and charter carrier Star Air (South Africa) (BRH, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo) to temporarily increase its capacity following the bankruptcy of competitor 1time airline (Johannesburg O.R. Tambo). The aircraft had previously been operated by Star Air on behalf of South African Express (Johannesburg O.R. Tambo) on the route between Johannesburg O.R. Tambo and Lubumbashi where the regional carrier now again uses its own CRJ700s.
