American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) has taken delivery of its first of a total of 14 B777-300ERs N717AN (MSN 31543) on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) on December 11. It will be the first US carrier to operate the aircraft type and plans to initially use the aircraft from Dallas/Fort Worth and New York JFK to São Paulo Guarulhos and from Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles International and New York JFK to London Heathrow.
