Hera Flight (HER, Orlando Sanford) has added a first Challenger 300 to the Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research reveals.
The 17.6-year-old aircraft, N950BA (msn 20181), was last active on February 10, flying between Hartford Bradley, where it was based, and St. Petersburg/Clearwater. Before joining Hera Flight, it was actively operating as part of the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) programme of Bombardier Business Aircraft in the United States. It began flying under the 'HER' code on April 29.
Earlier in 2024, the jet had been imported from Türkiye, where it was operated by Arkasair, the air taxi division of Arkas Holding, a Turkish conglomerate active across several sectors. Arkasair has since replaced the Challenger 300 with a brand-new Challenger 3500, now the sole aircraft in the company's fleet.
The company's Part 135 certificate also includes three Learjet 60s, a Learjet 60SE, two Challenger 601-3As, a Citation I/SP, four Citation X, and two GIVs.
