Kaz Air Jet (KEJ, Almaty International) has added a first Premier IA. The company's chief executive officer, Stepan Shtefan, confirmed to ch-aviation that the jet is based at Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The 13.8-year-old aircraft, UP-P1088 (msn RB-292), is configured for up to six passengers and was first active on March 21 and 22, 2025, flying from Munich Augsburg where it had been parked since June 2024 to Almaty International, with stops at Istanbul Airport, Baku Heydar Aliev International, and Tashkent International.

Originally delivered to the United States, the aircraft was exported to Kazakhstan in 2012, where it operated for nine years. In late 2021, it was reregistered in Russia and subsequently in Kyrgyzstan as EX-88008 in 2022. The jet was one of three Premier IAs that transitioned between the Russian and Kyrgyz registers, reportedly to bypass sanctions while flying between Russia and European destinations.

This Premier IA joins Kaz Air Jet's fleet comprising a Challenger 604, which was recently inducted, two Citation Jet 3s, a Legacy 600, a Piaggio P180, two Yak-42Ds, and a number of helicopters of various types including the AW119 and the B206.
