Foundation Aviation (Long Beach) has phased out the sole Citation Sovereign and the last of two GIVs from its Part 135 certificate. As a result of these retirements, the company’s charter fleet now comprises just one aircraft, down from seven at the beginning of 2025.

The Citation Sovereign, N516DB (msn 680-0038), a 19.7-year-old jet configured for up to 10 passengers, joined Foundation Aviation's Part 135 certificate in June 2024. It was last active on April 20, 2025, completing a roundtrip between Smyrna and Tucson International following a two-month period of inactivity.

The GIV, N960DP (msn 1157), a 33-year-old Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft seating up to 14 passengers, was added to Foundation Aviation’s charter operations in September 2024. It last flew on February 24, 2025, between Lawrenceville and Long Beach.

Foundation Aviation's Part 135 fleet comprised seven aircraft as of December 2024, including a Citation Sovereign, a Falcon 2000, a G150, two GIVs, a GV, and a Hawker 850XP. Following recent retirements, only the 23.7-year-old Falcon 2000 remains on the certificate and remains active.
