Air Canada rouge (RV, Toronto Pearson) will launch operations on July 1, 2013 with an initial fleet of two A319-100s and two B767-300ERs that will be transferred to the new low-cost carrier from its parent's mainline fleet and equipped with a higher density configuration. The B767-300ER will operate with 18 premium seats as well while the A319s will operate in an all Economy Class configuration. rouge will initially offer four weekly flights from Toronto Pearson to Athens, three weekly flights to Edinburgh and Venice Marco Polo as well as two weekly services between Montréal Trudeau and Athens with its B767-300ER fleet. A319-100s will operate from Toronto to Kingston Norman Manley five times per week, to Punta Cana and Varadero three times weekly, to San José Juan Santamaría twice per week and to Cayo Coco, Holguin, Guanacaste, Puerto Plata, Samaná El Catey and Santa Clara de Cuba on a weekly basis. All of the Caribbean destinations will be transferred to rouge from Air Canada while Edinburgh and Venice (unlike Athens) will be new destinations.
