Aloula Aviation (Dammam) has taken delivery of the first of three Challenger 3500s ordered directly from Bombardier Business Aircraft.

"As we begin the delivery of the three Challenger 3500 aircraft that will join our fleet, we look forward to the many opportunities these jets will bring to our operations," said Khalid Hassan Alnatour, chief executive officer at Aloula Aviation.

The brand-new aircraft, HZ-35A (msn 21068), is the first Challenger 3500 registered in Saudi Arabia and was first active on June 28, flying between Montréal Trudeau and London Biggin Hill. ch-aviation research indicates a second Challenger 3500 with manufacturer serial number 21073 will follow soon, while details of the third unit remain undisclosed.

The three Challenger 3500s will join Aloula Aviation's executive jet fleet, which includes a G450, a G650(ER), a G650ER, and two Hawker 900XPs, all registered in the United States. The company also operates nine B737-800s, with one registered in Saudi Arabia, a B767-200ER, as well as several turboprop and rotary-wing aircraft including the Beech (twin turboprop) King Air B300, the Air Tractor AT-802, the Airbus Helicopters H145, the Leonardo Helicopters AW139, and the Bell Helicopter 505.

Aloula Aviation originated as Saudi Aramco’s in-house aviation unit, Saudi Aramco Aviation, which was spun off in mid-2023, rebranded as Mukamalah Aviation, and ultimately renamed Aloula Aviation in August 2024. Beyond corporate jet charters, the company offers passenger and cargo transport, medical evacuation, search and rescue missions, geological surveying, offshore support, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services.
