Air Alsie (6I, Sønderborg) has inducted a brand-new Falcon 6X, ch-aviation research shows.

The aircraft, 9H-BEAR (msn 22), is the first in the operator's fleet to be registered in Malta. Configured for up to 14 passengers, it was first active on August 1, flying between Paris Le Bourget and Sønderborg. Since then, it has conducted several test flights under the company’s ‘MMD’ callsign around Aalborg and Aarhus.

It remains unclear whether the Falcon 6X will be reregistered in Denmark, where it would become the first unit of the type. It is currently the second Falcon 6X on the Maltese register, alongside another unit operated by Albinati Aviation.

With this addition, Air Alsie now operates four different Dassault Aviation types, namely the newly inducted Falcon 6X, four Falcon 2000LXS, one of which registered in the Netherlands, ten Falcon 7X, including one parked since May and no longer listed on the company's website, one registered in Germany, one in the Netherlands, and another in the Cayman Islands, and four Falcon 8X. The company's website also displays an additional Falcon 7X and a Falcon 8X in the livery of VW Air Services (BTX, Braunschweig/Wolfsburg).

Air Alsie also operates a PC-12 and two ATR72-500s. The latter are wet-leased to virtual carrier and subsidiary Alsie Express (Sønderborg) for scheduled and charter flights.

In July, Air Alsie retired Falcon 8X OY-SKK (msn 417), previously operated on behalf of Kirkbi A/S, the LEGO Group's majority shareholder. The 8.1-year-old, 14-seat trijet has since joined the operations of Blackbird Air (BBB, Billund), following the same path as a Falcon 2000LXS after Kirkbi ceased all corporate jet operations.

Currently parked at Billund and yet to enter service under Blackbird Air's 'BBB' code, the Falcon 8X joins a fleet comprising a Falcon 2000LXS, a Falcon 2000S, a Citation Jet 2+, two Phenom 300Es, a Praetor 600, a GVII-G500, and an AW139. The company’s website also indicates a G700 is due to be added soon.
