Comlux Aviation (Zurich) has placed an order for a Global 8000 directly from Bombardier Business Aircraft. The ultra-long-range jet, scheduled for delivery in 2026 and available for charter, is expected to be based in Dubai, the company told ch-aviation.
“The Global 8000 integrates perfectly into our long-range fleet, between our widebody fleet and our Global 6500 fleet,” said Comlux Aviation CEO Andrea Zanetto.
Currently undergoing final certification, the Global 8000 is expected to enter service later this year.
Comlux Aviation currently manages three ultra-long-range Bombardier aircraft, namely two Global 6000s and a Global 6500, the latter available for charter, all under Comlux Aviation Malta. Zanetto added that the company is seeking to attract owners of Global 7500 and Global 8000 jets for management.
The group further manages other aircraft manufactured by Bombardier, Airbus Corporate Jets, Boeing Business Jet, Gulfstream Aerospace, Embraer Executive Jets, and Pilatus Aircraft across Comlux Aviation Malta, Comlux Aruba, and Comlux KZ. It is not currently known under which division the new Global 8000 will be operated.
