JetGlobe (Istanbul Atatürk) has launched Gulfstream Aerospace operations following the addition of a GIV-SP.
The 23.8-year-old aircraft, TC-DMR (msn 1456), is configured for up to 13 passengers. The jet had been inactive from August 9 until November 3, when it completed a roundtrip between Istanbul Atatürk, where it is based, and Isparta Süleyman Demirel.
It joins JetGlobe's fleet which is primarily comprised of Dassault Aviation aircraft, including a Falcon 900LX, five Falcon 2000s, one of which is registered in San Marino and parked at Istanbul Atatürk since December 20, and a San Marino-registered Falcon 7X added in late 2024.
The carrier further operates a Legacy 600 and retired a Global 5000 earlier this year, exiting Bombardier Business Aircraft operations.
The GIV-SP was formerly placed on the air operator's certificate (AOC) of Zafer Air, which continues to include another unit as well as other Gulfstream ultra-long-range jets.
Zafer Air had operated this aircraft on behalf of Sierra Aviation (Türkiye), alongside another GIV-SP, with which the latter secured a Turkish AOC in August.
