Batot Air has taken delivery of its first Il-76TD as it gears up its cargo charter operations, thus far with a single An-12.

XT-ABL (msn 1013409287) is a 33.8-year-old aircraft which was previously registered in Uzbekistan as UK76831. While it was owned by Uzbekistan Airways, it does not appear to have ever been operated by the airline. The freighter had been stored at Tashkent International for at least 10 years until November 6, when it was ferried - already under its new Burkinabe registration and Batot Air's 'BTO' code - to Fujairah. It remains parked at the Emirati airport.

The airline did not respond to ch-aviation's request for more details on its plans for the aircraft. On its website, it says it will focus on "providing cargo charter flights across Africa, Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe, China, and CIS countries on short notice, even to difficult locations."

Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows the airline also operates An-12 XT-ABA (msn unknown), which was last tracked in September 2025. However, the aircraft is not listed on Batot Air's website and it is unclear if it will be used for commercial services.
