Private jet charter broker TLC Jet has acquired Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135-certified operator Privaira (PVO, Fort Lauderdale Executive). The deal includes a fleet of charter and managed aircraft, along with a new hangar at Fort Lauderdale Executive.

“The strategic driver for us was finding a Part 135 operator that could serve as the foundation for our special service philosophy, and we found a fantastic cultural match with the team at Privaira,” founder Justin Firestone told ch-aviation. Following the acquisition, Privaira's brand will be retained and will transition to TLC Jet over the course of 2026 as the company consolidates under a single banner.

As of July, Privaira's Part 135 certificate, held under Sky One Holdings, LLC, comprised a Learjet 60XR, a Challenger 604, a Falcon 50, a Falcon 2000LXS inducted earlier this year, a Hawker 800XP, and a Hawker 800XPi. “These aircraft will operate on a floating-base model and become inventory for the TLC Jet on-demand charter business, giving clients priority access and instant pricing,” Firestone explained.

Privaira's charter and managed fleet will have their primary operational and maintenance base at Fort Lauderdale Executive, where TLC Jet plans to develop a new hangar pending regulatory approval expected shortly. “Aircraft relocation and hangar fit-out will begin immediately upon closing. Full integration of operations, systems, branding, and revenue functions is expected by summer 2026,” he said.

Firestone expects room for expansion once the integration is complete. “We plan to grow the managed fleet aggressively with the combined sales teams,” he said. Over the next three to five years, TLC Jet aims to become one of the 10 largest United States-based operators by managed fleet size while providing on-demand charter customers with greater in-house availability in the super-midsize and large-cabin segments.

Launched in May, TLC Jet is backed by investment firm 313 Equity Partners, which earlier this year acquired Toledo Jet Center, an FAA Part 145-certified repair station with facilities at Fort Lauderdale Executive and Toledo Express. Privaira's aircraft will use Toledo Jet Centre's maintenance services.
