Luxaviation Group has launched a cargo charter department under Luxaviation ONE, the group's brokerage division. A company spokesperson confirmed to ch-aviation that larger freight services will be operated by external carriers, while smaller and hand carry cargo can be carried out internally.
The new department, operating within Luxaviation ONE, will transport urgent deliveries, humanitarian aid, dangerous goods, pharmaceutical and medical supplies, oil and gas equipment, high-value commodities, and live animals. It will further provide aircraft-on-ground (AOG) and parts support.
While larger freight will be carried by external companies, smaller cargo can be operated by Luxaviation Group's different air operator's certificates (AOCs) in France, Malta, Portugal, San Marino, and the United Kingdom, along with Australia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates under the ExecuJet brand.
The group manages several aircraft manufactured by Airbus Corporate Jets, Boeing Business Jet, Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Textron Aviation.
