Ryanair (FR, Dublin International) has said it will terminate all of its routes to/from the Azores at the end of the Winter 2025/26 season, blaming high airport fees and taxes. The LCC currently operates 5x weekly to Ponta Delgada, connecting the Azores' main airport with Lisbon and Porto, and has a 4.6% market share at the airport by scheduled capacity.
