SkyLease Cargo (GG, Miami International) has agreed to pay USD1.03 million (including USD515,000 in restitution) to settle a US Justice Department case claiming that the airline knowingly reported false information about its performance of a mail delivery contract with the United States Postal Service. The carrier allegedly misreported the times it delivered US mail to its identified destinations between 2019 and 2023. The settlement addressed the allegations only, and no liability has been established.
