Orkney Islands Council, a regional government in northern Scotland, has issued a tender to buy a used BN-2B-26, its third aircraft of the type. The government has budgeted up to GBP400,000 pounds (USD533,000) for the aircraft. Loganair (LM, Glasgow International) currently owns two BN-2s, which are operating local essential air services.
