Starlux Airlines (JX, Taipei Taoyuan) has taken delivery of its first A350-1000, B-58551 (msn 761). The carrier expects a total of 18 of the type to be delivered until 2031.

The aircraft, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, ferried directly from Toulouse Blagnac to the airline's Taipei Taoyuan base on January 5, 2026.

Starlux originally ordered twelve A350-1000s in 2018, with deliveries initially slated for 2022. It later converted four units to the A350-900 variant in 2019 before topping up the order to 18 units in June 2025.

ch-aviation data shows that the Starlux Airlines fleet now comprises thirty Airbus aircraft: thirteen A321-200NX, six A330-900Ns, ten A350-900s, and the single newly delivered A350-1000. It holds further commitments for six A321-200NX, two A330-900Ns, seventeen A350-1000s, and ten A350Fs.
