Air Charter Scotland (EDC, Perth Scone) has wet-leased Beech (twin turboprop) King Air B200 G-MEGN (msn BB-1518) from Dragonfly Aviation Services (London Luton) to launch its maiden scheduled route, from Aberdeen Dyce to Wick, which started on January 14, 2026. Flights were initially due to be operated with a BAe Jetstream 31 wet-leased from AIS Airlines (Netherlands), but the airline made the swap due to regulatory requirements related to the use of foreign-crewed aircraft. Air Charter Scotland currently estimates the King Air will be deployed until the end of February. From March 1, legislation allowing foreign crews to operate for domestic UK carriers will enter into force.
