The Scottish government has extended the public service obligation (PSO) contract for services out of Wick for another year, and re-awarded the subsidy to the current operator, Air Charter Scotland (EDC, Glasgow International). Between August 14, 2026, and August 14, 2027, the airline will connect the town in the far northeast of Scotland with Aberdeen Dyce (4x weekly) and Glasgow International (3x weekly). Currently, the airline flies daily from Aberdeen. Flights will continue to be operated with a BAe Jetstream 32 wet leased from AIS Airlines (Netherlands).
