Korean Air (KE, Seoul Incheon) has signed a strategic equity investment agreement with drone specialist Pablo Air. While the airline did not disclose financial terms in its press release, local media outlet Chosun Biz reported the investment is valued at KRW5 billion won (USD3.5 million).

The agreement, finalised on January 23, aims to prop up the carrier's defence division by integrating Pablo Air's swarm AI autonomous flight algorithms into its medium-to-large UAVs. Both companies intend to collaborate on joint research and development for new business models in the aerospace sector.
