VietJetAir (VJ, Hanoi Noi Bai International) has selected Pratt & Whitney GTF engines to power an additional forty-four A320neo Family aircraft, the manufacturer announced in a statement on February 4, 2026. The deal, formalised at the 2026 Singapore Airshow, covers twenty-four A321-200NX and twenty A321-200NY(XLR) jets, with deliveries scheduled to commence in July 2026. Accordingly, this agreement brings the Vietnamese carrier's total backlog of GTF-powered aircraft to 137 units.
