Aircraft management specialist Fly Elite (Lagos) has added a first Bombardier Business Aircraft, a Challenger 604, the company announced on social media. It remains unclear whether the jet will be operated in-house by Fly Elite or placed under the air operator's certificate (AOC) of another company.

The 2004-built Challenger 604, 5N-FEL (msn 5590), is configured for up to 10 passengers. The jet became active on February 10, completing a roundtrip between Lagos and Minna.

The aircraft is one of two Challenger 604s retired by Avcon Jet San Marino in late 2025. Previously registered as T7-SAHIN, it joined Avcon Jet San Marino's fleet in mid-2024. The jet remained active until October 10, flying between Ankara Esenboga, where it was based, and Dubai World Central. On January 28, the aircraft was ferried to Lagos, with a stop at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta.

Avcon Jet San Marino now operates a single Challenger 600-series aircraft, a Challenger 601-3A, alongside other jets manufactured by Boeing Business Jet, Bombardier, Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream Aerospace, Hawker Beechcraft, and Honda Aircraft.

The Challenger 604 joins a Hawker 850XP in Fly Elite's charter offering. The Hawker 850XP is placed under the AOC of Mounthill Aviation Resources (MHH, Abuja). It is unclear whether Fly Elite holds an AOC or whether the Challenger 604 will similarly be placed under a third-party certificate.
