Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) will begin operating its fleet of line-built B787-9s with nearly all Allegris business class seats available on April 15, 2026. After the much-delayed "milestones in the certification process were reached in recent weeks," the German carrier will start selling 25 out of 28 premium seats. The three remaining seats are yet to be certified. Lufthansa currently operates eight B787-9s with the Allegris configuration, with the remaining 21 due by the end of 2027.
