Porter Airlines (P3, Toronto Billy Bishop City Centre) will replace its current services from Toronto Billy Bishop City Centre to Chicago Midway with flights to Chicago O'Hare on September 1, 2026. The Canadian carrier said that the move, which will also see a frequency increase from daily to 3x daily, will facilitate future partnerships at the larger Chicago airport to enable connections with partner airlines. Porter will deploy its DHC-8-Q400s on the route. Toronto Billy Bishop will become a US Customs and Border Protection preclearance facility shortly, which Porter expects will facilitate more cross-border traffic.
