SeaPort Airlines (Seattle Boeing Field) will launch its second scheduled commuter route from Seattle Boeing Field, this time to Spokane Felts Field, becoming the first airline to operate scheduled flights out of that airport. The flights, which will operate up to 8x daily, will commence on March 9 and will be operated with PC-12s under the certificate of sister operator Air Excursions. SeaPort aims to offer a more convenient alternative to the Seattle Tacoma International-Spokane International flights. "The Sea-Tac mega airport has outgrown short-hop travel in the Pacific Northwest," CEO Kent Craford said. The operator currently flies up to 16x daily between Boeing Field and Portland International.
