Fly Live Charter has launched executive jet operations following the addition of a Citation II. President and chief pilot Jonathan Stern told Business Air News that the aircraft enables the carrier to provide longer-range, faster flights but nonetheless facilitates access to smaller airports, meeting growing client demand.

The 1980-built Citation II, N173AA (msn 550-0234), is configured for up to seven passengers and is based at Fort Lauderdale Executive. Fly Live Charter acquired the jet during summer 2025.

This aircraft is now available for charter and joins two Piper Aircraft PA-31s in Fly Live Charter's Part 135-certified fleet.

Between late 2023 and late 2024, this Citation II was part of the charter fleet of Choice Airways (CSX, Fort Lauderdale Executive), after which it was operated privately in the United States.

At the time, Choice Airways replaced the jet with another 1980-built Citation II, N219MS (msn 550-0180), which has remained parked at Fort Lauderdale Executive since November 20. Meanwhile, the carrier retired a Citation manufactured in 1975, N3095M (msn 500-0250), now stored at Miami Executive since June 2024.
