Cebu Pacific Air (5J, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) will reduce frequencies and suspend several routes through summer 2026 due to the global fuel crisis triggered by the Middle East conflict, the low-cost carrier announced on March 23, 2026.
The airline said it will temporarily suspend the following services:
- Davao-Bangkok Don Mueang from April 13 to October 23
- Iloilo-Bangkok Don Mueang from April 17 to October 24
- Iloilo-Singapore Changi from June 15 to October 23
In addition, frequencies will be reduced on several routes:
- Cebu-Singapore from 7x to 5x weekly
- Manila Ninoy Aquino International-Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta from 7x to 4x weekly
- Manila-Kuala Lumpur International from 7x to 5x weekly
- Manila-Melbourne Airport from 5x to 4x weekly
- Manila-Sydney Kingsford Smith from 7x to 5x weekly
Cebu Pacific will also postpone the planned launch of flights between Angeles City Clark International and Hanoi Noi Bai International, originally scheduled for May 2.
