Air Ocean Maroc (AOM, Ben Slimane) has launched Global-series operations following the induction of a Global 5000, the company announced.
The 2005-built Bombardier Business Aircraft, registered in Morocco as CN-TMM (msn 9166) in early April, is configured for up to 13 passengers. The ultra-long-range jet became active on April 9, flying between Alton and Casablanca Mohammed V, where it is based, with a stop at New York Newark, and has since been active across Africa.
Previously registered in the United States as N814LL, the aircraft was privately managed by Jet Aviation Flight Services (JAS, Teterboro) out of Washington Dulles. Jet Aviation Flight Services manages other Global 5000s, alongside several additional Global-series aircraft and other jets produced by multiple manufacturers.
This Global 5000 was acquired by Qatar-based aviation services provider Gulf Helicopters, which has held a 49% stake in Air Ocean Maroc since 2019.
With this addition, Air Ocean Maroc's fleet comprises the Global 5000, three Learjet 45(XR)s, a Challenger 604, a Legacy 600, and two Hawker 850XPs. A Hawker 850XP and a Learjet 45(XR) were inducted in mid-2025.
