AirBorneo (MY, Kuching) is reviewing its maintenance and parts-supply arrangements, and plans to engage additional and alternative partners to secure faster access to critical components following recent service disruptions across its network. The carrier said it is working to expedite maintenance and restore normal operations.
Per ch-aviation data, AirBorneo's MRO providers include Firefly Maintenance and Repair Organisation and MAB Engineering.
The airline has faced scrutiny over cancellations and delays after taking over the operations of MASwings in January 2026. The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia has reminded the carrier of its obligation to minimise passenger disruption.
