flynas (XY, Riyadh) will open its sixth operations base at Gassim on July 1, 2026, as part of an agreement with airport operator Cluster2 Company, according to a press release from the Saudi low-cost carrier. The initial phase of the expansion will connect Gassim to three new destinations: Istanbul Airport, Giza, and Abha. According to ch-aviation data, the airline already operates flights from the airport to Trabzon and Dammam. flynas currently maintains bases at Abha, Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah International, and Madinah airports. The carrier said it plans to gradually increase the number of domestic and international destinations served from Gassim.
Per ch-aviation data, the carrier's in-house fleet comprises three A320-200s, sixty-one A320-200Ns, and two A330-300s. Additionally, flynas wet leases three A321-200s, one A330-200, four A330-300s, and six A330-900Ns.
