TAAG Angola Airlines (DT, Luanda 4 De Fevereiro) will deploy its new B787-9 to Lisbon after receiving clearance from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to operate the type in European airspace. Only the B787-9 was included in this certification application, but the airline ultimately plans to deploy its B787-10 to Lisbon once the type is cleared for European service, TAAG confirmed to ch-aviation. The airline currently serves Lisbon with B777-300ERs. The B787 fleet comprises a pair each of B787-9s and B787-10s. The European Commission removed TAAG from its Safety List in April 2019.
