FL Technics has received a Part 145 Repair Station Certificate from the US Federal Aviation Administration for its 20,000-square-metre facility at Punta Cana. The certification comes after FL Technics received approval from the Dominican Republic’s CAA (Instituto Dominicano de Aviación Civil - IDAC) on June 16.

The MRO at Punta Cana is certified for A320 and B737 family aircraft heavy maintenance and will start operations with five maintenance bays, with plans to grow to 20 bays. JetBlue Airways (B6, New York JFK) will be FL Technics’ first client at the facility.
