CEO Luigi Crispino stated that he is seeking to initiate liability actions against administrative bodies, and has already assembled a team of lawyers to evaluate criminal proceedings. He added that he and the shareholders “are curious and eager to know who had an interest in halting Aerolinee Siciliane flights." The airline was founded in 2020 and has suffered several false starts over the years, most recently aiming for a May 2026 launch by connecting Catania and Palermo International with Milan Bergamo as a virtual carrier.
