United States-based medical technology company TransMedics has completed a previously announced strategic investment into Germany-based private aviation operator PAD Aviation, supporting the creation of a dedicated air-and-ground organ transplant logistics network across Europe. “Together, we can create a significant opportunity to increase the utilisation of precious donor organs to save more European transplant patients,” said Waleed Hassanein, managing director, president, and CEO of TransMedics.
