AirBorneo (MY, Kuching) has begun wet leasing two B737-800s from Batik Air Malaysia (OD, Kuala Lumpur International), 9M-LCV (msn 41607) and 9M-LCZ (msn 41812), both of which have already arrived at Kuching and have been painted in AirBorneo colours. The latter operated the first test flight under AirBorneo's 'MY' code to Kuala Lumpur International and return on July 18. The airline plans to deploy the two narrowbodies on routes from Kuching to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore Changi, beginning on July 20 and July 27, 2026, respectively.
