Best Jets International (DOW, St. Paul Holman Downtown) is nearing Part 121 certification, in line with plans outlined in early 2025, after completing FAA-required proving runs. The company expects final FAA approval for Part 121 operations in about three weeks. “This achievement represents an exciting step forward for Best Jets and will allow us to significantly expand our charter footprint in the Part 121 market,” said Larry Gregg, executive vice president of Best Jets International. The company plans to expand charter and corporate shuttle services across the corporate, sports, entertainment, VIP, government, and workforce sectors.
Best Jets International currently operates two 30-seat E170s under Part 135 regulations. Upon approval, the company will operate under both Part 121 and Part 135 regulations, with plans to add two 60-seat E170s for the new operations. All aircraft are due to complete conformity inspections by November 1.
