An undisclosed Middle Eastern country has placed an order with Saab (Sweden) for two GlobalEye airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft based on the Global 6500 platform. The contract is valued at SEK10.1 billion kronor (USD1.1 billion), with deliveries scheduled for 2030. The GlobalEye is already in service in the Middle East, where the United Arab Emirates Air Force operates three Global 6000(Eye)s and two Global 6500(Eye)s. In 2025, Saab pitched the GlobalEye to Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
