Nok Air (DD, Bangkok Don Mueang) plans to resume international operations on October 14, 2026, with 4x weekly Bangkok Don Mueang-Hyderabad International flights using B737-800s, according to ch-aviation schedules data.

The Thai low-cost carrier has not operated international flights since August 2025, when the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) limited its air operator's certificate (AOC) to domestic flights only due to safety incidents and personnel issues. CAAT also prohibited Nok Air from launching new routes or adding capacity to existing services at the time.

Immediately after AOC No. AOC.0006 was amended, Nok Air told ch-aviation that it had already sent clarification documents to CAAT. It remains unclear whether the LCC has since had its operational restrictions lifted. ch-aviation has contacted Nok Air and CAAT for comment.

Nok Air previously planned to restart international flights between Bangkok Don Mueang and Kuala Lumpur International in July 2026, according to a press release from Malaysia's Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, though the route was never launched.

According to ch-aviation data, Nok Air operates ten B737-800s across 15 domestic destinations.
