Singapore Airlines (SQ, Singapore Changi) and ANA - All Nippon Airways (NH, Tokyo Haneda) have secured Australian competition approval for their joint venture covering Australia-Japan passenger services until September 10, 2031. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) authorised revenue sharing on certain routes, alongside coordination on scheduling, pricing, sales, marketing, airport operations, customer services, and IT. The decision will take effect on September 10, 2026, unless reviewed by the Australian Competition Tribunal. The ACCC granted interim authorisation in July.
