Delta Air Lines (DL, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson) reportedly has withdrawn from Ghana's process to select a strategic partner for its planned new national airline after opting not to participate in the government's formal expression of interest. The move narrows the field of prospective partners, previously reported to include Ethiopian Airlines, EgyptAir, and Boeing. Ghana aims to launch the carrier in 2027 as part of President John Mahama's plan to restore a national carrier after past failures. ch-aviation has contacted Delta Air Lines for comment.
