EgyptAir (MS, Cairo International) plans to return to Sydney Kingsford Smith in 2027 with a Cairo International-Singapore Changi-Sydney service, restoring flights to Australia around 25 years after it withdrew from the market in July 2002. The proposed service is expected to use A350-900 aircraft and remains subject to regulatory approvals.
