Qatar Airways Cargo has begun flights between Doha Hamad International and Helsinki Vantaa, marking the Nordic country's first dedicated, scheduled cargo route to Asia. Launched on September 2, 2026, flights will operate 1x weekly, routing via Budapest. One of Qatar Airways's B777-200Fs has been deployed on the service.
It will be the third airline to operate cargo flights to Helsinki, according to ch-aviation schedules data. Turkish Airlines operates cargo services from Istanbul Airport and Vilnius in partnership with ULS Airlines Cargo, while Lufthansa operates from Frankfurt International and Stockholm Arlanda in partnership with Lufthansa CityLine.
