Singapore International Commercial Court has published its justification for sanctioning the scheme of arrangement of Jetstar Asia Airways (Singapore Changi), covering about 194,000 consumer creditors with SGD11.4 million Singapore dollars (USD8.9 million) in claims. The scheme, approved on May 21, 2026, provides for customer claims regarding tickets, bookings, and vouchers to be assumed by Jetstar Airways Pty Ltd, while preserving full recovery rights. Consumers do not need to vote or submit proofs of debt. Jetstar Asia Airways ceased operations on July 31, 2025.
