FlyOne (Armenia) (3F, Yerevan) has finalised an order with Airbus for two A321-200NX aircraft, marking its first direct order with the manufacturer, the parties announced in a statement.
The agreement, signed on September 30, 2026, formalises a memorandum of understanding (MoU) announced during French president Emmanuel Macron's visit to Yerevan on May 5, 2026. The aircraft will be powered by CFM International LEAP engines and configured with 239 seats in an all-economy cabin layout.
The A321neo deliveries will support the airline's planned network expansion and fleet modernisation.
FlyOne Armenia currently relies heavily on wet-leased capacity, with half of its fleet on ACMI contracts, predominantly from within the FlyOne Group.
The Armenian airline currently operates eleven A320 Family aircraft, including eight A320-200s (of which three are wet leased from FlyOne and one from Avion Express), two A321-200s (including one wet leased from FlyOne); and one in-house ACJ319-100; plus one B737-500 wet leased from Shirak Avia, according to ch-aviation data.
FlyOne Group carriers FlyOne, FlyOne Armenia, and FlyOne (Romania) all operate A320 types, primarily A320-200s and A321-200s. However, FlyOne Asia (7Q, Tashkent International) on August 24 took delivery of its first A321-200NX. It was the group's first A320neo family aircraft, and FlyOne Asia has since taken a second of the type.
