Croatia Airlines (OU, Zagreb Franjo Tuđman) has pushed back the complete phase-out of its A319-100 fleet to late November 2026, retaining the type for six return rotations, having previously planned to withdraw it next week, according to schedule analysis at AeroRoutes.

The Zagreb Franjo Tuđman-based carrier had scheduled the A319's final commercial flights for October as it transitions to an all-A220 fleet, but a revised schedule filing now shows its last A319 service will be between Zagreb and Vienna on November 27. Schedule changes remain possible.

The A319 will see limited utilisation during its final month. AeroRoutes' schedule analysis, based on Croatia Airlines' October 11 filing, shows the aircraft operating only twelve A319 flights, or six return services, on November 1, 5, 16, and 27.

Croatia Airlines is replacing its legacy Dash 8 and Airbus fleets with fifteen A220-family aircraft, namely thirteen A220-300s and two A220-100s, of which only two more -300s must be delivered. It has said it expects to complete the single-type transition by the end of 2027, while acknowledging the need for flexibility because of supply-chain and production constraints.

Croatia Airlines first announced its fleet renewal in October 2022 and took delivery of its first A220-100 in late September 2025. The carrier retired its final A320-200 on January 26, 2026.

Croatia Airlines currently operates a fleet of 21 aircraft, comprising two A220-100s, eleven A220-300s, four A319-100s, and four DHC-8-Q400s. It additionally wet leases a single ATR72-600 from ETF Airways.
