Discover Airlines (4Y, Frankfurt International) will begin operating flights from Frankfurt International to Belize City International on December 16, 2027, marking the Central American country's first transatlantic route.

Flights from Frankfurt to Belize City will operate 2x weekly until mid-April 2028, according to a company statement. This schedule coincides with the dry season, which is considered a particularly popular time to visit Belize.

The debut route is part of a package of new services announced by Discover Airlines, which also includes taking over Lufthansa’s flights from Frankfurt and Munich to Seattle Tacoma International beginning in late March 2027, as well as a new 3x weekly service from Frankfurt to Edmonton International.

The company further announced the addition of another A330-300 to join the Munich fleet in March 2027, bringing the total number of aircraft based at the hub to ten. Its overall fleet comprises eighteen A330-200s, two A320-200s, and fifteen A330-300s, with thirteen A350-900s to be delivered in the future.
