SyberJet Aircraft (San Antonio International) has launched the SJ34, an upgraded version of the SJ30, opening orders for the model during the 2026 NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas. At the event, the manufacturer further unveiled a mock-up of the new SJ36, a type announced in late 2025, and secured letters of intent (LOIs) for more than fifty SJ36s.

The new SJ34 will accommodate up to seven passengers and feature more powerful Williams International engines than the previous SJ30 jet, of which eight units have been produced since FAA certification in 2005. Orders for the SJ34, scheduled to enter service in 2029, are now open.

SyberJet further unveiled a mock-up of the SJ36, a stretched version of the SJ34. Configured for up to eight passengers, this aircraft is scheduled to begin flight testing in 2027, with FAA certification and first deliveries targeted for 2032. As with the SJ34, the Williams International engine selected for the SJ36 has yet to be announced.

Following the SJ36 mock-up unveiling, the company secured letters of intent for more than 50 aircraft, including commitments involving charter operators, corporate flight departments, and individual owners.

SyberJet estimates that the new programmes will create over 1,500 jobs at facilities in Arizona, Texas, and Utah over the next four years.

Headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, the manufacturer was acquired in 2024 by a group of investors including Trevor Milton, who serves as CEO. Milton founded heavy-duty commercial battery-electric and hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle manufacturer Nikola in 2015 and resigned as executive chairman in 2020.

In 2022, Milton was convicted of securities and wire fraud for misleading investors about Nikola's technology and sentenced to four years in prison in 2023. United States President Donald Trump granted Milton a full and unconditional pardon in March 2025.
