Hahnair (HR, Düsseldorf) has replaced a 2020-built Citation Latitude with a brand-new unit of the type, in line with plans outlined by general manager Daniel Rudas in an exclusive interview with ch-aviation in mid-2025. The factory-new aircraft, registered in Germany as D-CHRH (msn 680A-0485), departed Textron Aviation's Wichita Eisenhower production facilities on September 5, bound for Düsseldorf, arriving the following day after stops at Goose Bay and Reykjavik Domestic. On September 27, the eight-seat jet, offered with six seats for charter operations, entered service under Hahnair's 'HHN' code with a flight to Palermo International.

This aircraft replaces a 2020-built Citation Latitude, currently registered as D-CHRG (msn 680A-0238) and parked at Düsseldorf since September 14. Hahnair further operates a Citation Jet 3+, scheduled to be replaced by a Citation Jet 4 Gen3 in the first half of 2028. Initially, the company had ordered a Citation Jet 3 Gen3 for delivery in 2026, but later switched to the Citation Jet 4 Gen3, citing increased capacity, greater range, and a new Textron Aviation avionics package compared with the previous Citation Jet 4 variant.
