Southern Air (Cincinnati International) will likely emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection within the next couple of weeks according to the cargo carrier's CEO Daniel McHugh. Its reorganization plan has been confirmed by its bankruptcy court after receiving support from most creditors. Southern Air has moved its headquarters from Hartford, CT to Cincinnati as part of its restructuring and has decreased its fleet to five B747-400F and four B777F freighters.
